Hey. I am a lyricist. I write songs. And I decided that there should be a club for other lyricists on DA. So here it is. For now there won't be any prizes for contests; maybe in the future though. ~relentlessinfinity

***Announcements***
~relentlessinfinity has stepped down as leader of ~Lyricists, and I (~Bisto) will continue it for him. The September Contest didn't go to plan... No one voted, so, seeing as I was the next one that asked to be a member of staff, I inherited the part leadership of the club, which was surprising to say the least. Just carry on noting me though if you want to be a Staff member. There will be a new contest up in a few days and I will post the rules and writing topic for it then.

A hint: It'll be suited to the current time of year... *Starts humming 'Jingle Bells'* >_>

*Contests*
I will hold songwriting contests monthly for anyone to join into. the members will vote for the winner; their deviation and name will be posted on the journal until the next contest is done and there's a new winner.
Soon we will have more staff and there will be a strict "no staff in contests" rule, sorry for anyone who wants to be a staff member but wants to be in contests, you'll have to choose.

*Voting*
Note me with the name of the person you are voting for when the time comes.

*How To Join*
You can join if you are or seriously want to be a lyricist. Just send a note to us and add us to your devwatch and we will add your name to the list.
We are now accepting applications for staff. Any members can become staff but you will in turn forfiet your ability to compete in any contests. if you would like to become lyricists staff, send a note to us with two reasons why you would make a good staff member and qualifications if any.
